Chicken Pot Pie Gravy

  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large potato, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup peas
We just want to pour this Chicken Pot Pie Gravy over everything. Everything!
  1. Heat butter in a pot over medium-high heat. Add carrots, celery, onion, potato, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour and chicken broth to the pot. Stir to combine. Finally, stir in cream cheese and peas.
  3. Cook until gravy thickens and develops a consistency like chicken pot pie filling. Taste and season with more salt and pepper if necessary.
  4. Remove from heat and serve over biscuits, chicken, or whatever your heart desires. Enjoy!
