Greek Style Meatballs

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ lb ground lamb
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ⅛ cup chopped parsley + for garnish
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Cumin
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • [topping/sauce]
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with foil.

Step 2: In a bowl, mix meat with the rest of the ingredients with your hands. Form mixture into medium-sized meatballs and lay out onto baking tray. Make as many as you can.

Step 3: Bake them off for 20 minutes, until they are cooked through.

Step 4: In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, and chopped parsley. Plate the meatballs. Then, spoon that across the top of them. Finally, sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese on top.
