Pine Nut & Garlic Hummus

  • 1 cup pine nuts, divided
  • 6-8 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Zaatar, to garnish
  • Smoked paprika, to garnish
  1. In a skillet on medium low heat, place pine nuts and let them roast till fragrant, constantly mixing so they do not burn.
  2. Add in ¾ cup of roasted pine nuts, garlic and olive oil to the food processor with the original hummus. Blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer the hummus to a bowl the garnish with the remaining pine nuts, olive oil, zaatar and smoked paprika.
